Terms and Conditions (Workshops)
Last Updated: 11th November, 2022
ABOUT
We try to be as flexible as possible but we do have
a few Terms and Conditions. Let us know if you have any questions.
COURSE BOOKING FEES & CONFIRMATION
Course fees are payable through our automated payment
system on our website, by direct bank transfer, credit or debit card or
by cheque. A confirmation email will be sent to you once your payment has
been processed. Full payment is required to secure a place on a course.
REFUNDS
- Cancellations made prior to 2 weeks before the course start date
are entitled to a full refund less a £30 admin fee.
- Cancellations made within 2 weeks of the course start date are
non-refundable.
- All cancellation requests must be made in writing.
- Fees cannot be transferred to future terms unless agreed to by
Art Classes For Me. It is very rare that we have to cancel a course,
and we reserve the right to do so. If this should happen you will
be refunded 100% of the course fees with no administration charge.
COVID-19 / OTHER EVENT OUTSIDE OF OUR CONTROL
We will follow the latest government advice for
further/higher education classes. In the event that a class is not
allowed to go ahead for reasons that are outside of our control, such
as a lockdown, we will give you notice as soon we are aware of the
problem. We would provide online classes as an alternative and no
refund can be given.
COURSE CONTENT
We reserve the right to make changes to the course
curriculum as may be necessary.
COURSE MATERIALS
Materials will be supplied for this course
unless you are attending online. Online students will need to buy
their own, and a full materials list will be provided once you book
onto your course.
COPYRIGHT, REFERENCE MATERIAL AND HANDOUTS
In person students will
receive a copy of all images/handouts printed. Online students can
access these online and print yourselves. The handouts are the sole
intellectual property of ‘Art Classes For Me’ and may not
be copied or reproduced. We reserve the right to use images from our
classes to showcase our courses for marketing purposes. Please let us
know in writing if you would like to opt out of this.
VENUE
Details of course venues are listed on our website and
included with course details. We reserve the right to make reasonable
course venue changes if needed, and any such change will be notified to
you in writing. A change in venue does not entitle you to any refund of
course fees, whether in part or in full.
CLASS POLICIES
Please aim to be punctual - classrooms and online
meetings will be ready 15 minutes before class starts. Please try to
arrive about this time so you are relaxed and ready to learn.
We maintain the right to dismiss any student
who acts inappropriately in the classroom. Any dismissal and resulting
booking cancellation will not be eligible for any refund or credit for this
booking.
CLOTHING
Please wear old clothes or aprons. We are not
responsible for any damage to student’s clothing.
ELIGIBILITY
Our courses are open to all adults 18 years or over.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
Please use common sense. We aim to provide a
safe learning environment to reduce the risk of injury. Please let
us know if you have any health needs we need to be aware of before
the start of the classes.
ACCESSIBILITY
The venue has a stair lift to the classroom.
If you have a disability or need we should know about, please inform
us and we will support you as best we can.
